Automated Reporting Systems

The report writes itself. On schedule.

Weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports generated straight from your warehouse — formatted for the board, leadership, or customers, and delivered as a PDF, an email, or a Slack post with the right context attached. So nobody spends the first week of the month rebuilding the same deck by hand.

01The idea

Every month, someone rebuilds the same deck by hand.

They pull the same numbers from the same tools, paste them into the same template, fix the same formatting, and pray they didn't mistype a cell — and they'll do it all again next month. It's slow, it's error-prone, and it eats the time of the people who should be reading the report, not assembling it. The fix is to make the report a product of the warehouse. We build templates that regenerate on a schedule, formatted for whoever's reading and delivered where they already look — so the report shows up on its own, correct, on time, and the same every period.

02The signs

Reporting has become a manual chore.

Each symptom has the same root — and the same fix underneath.

  • 01

Someone copies numbers into a deck every week

A report generated from the warehouse — built once, regenerated on schedule.

  • 02

Board reports are a quarter-end fire drill

A board pack that regenerates ahead of the meeting, ready for sign-off.

  • 03

Customer reporting is a manual export per account

A branded report per customer, populated from their own data automatically.

  • 04

Three versions of revenue that should match don't

Every report reads the same modelled warehouse — one number, everywhere.

  • 05

Nobody can prove what March's report actually said

Every report archived with its data, approvers, and recipients.

03What we build

The reporting your team stops dreading.

From the warehouse to a finished report — the work that turns a chore into a file in your inbox.

Every report kept with its data, approvers, and recipients.

04From warehouse to inbox

The same path, every period — without you.

  1. Warehouse01
  2. Template02
  3. Generate03
  4. Approve04
  5. Deliver05
  6. Archive06

The numbers come from the warehouse, drop into the template, generate on schedule, route through approval where it's needed, deliver to the right channel, and get archived for the record. Once it's set up, the whole path runs without a person in the loop — except the one signing off.

05Report templates

Designed once, for the people reading it.

A board doesn't want a pivot table and a customer doesn't want your internal metrics. We design a template per audience — the layout, the right charts, period-over-period comparisons, and the written context that explains what changed. Built once, then reused every period.

  • A template per audience — board, leadership, customer
  • The right charts and period comparisons
  • Commentary slots for the context that matters
  • Consistent branding and layout every time

Scheduled report generation
06Scheduled generation

It runs on its own cadence.

Each report has its own schedule — weekly ops summary, monthly board pack, quarterly customer review — and the cadence respects your calendar. A month-end report waits for the month to actually end. No one has to remember to kick it off.

  • Weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences
  • Business-day and time-zone aware
  • Period boundaries respected automatically
  • Generated from the modelled warehouse
07Approval workflow

Sensitive reports wait for sign-off.

A report can generate on schedule without going straight out the door. Sensitive ones — board financials, customer-facing figures, anything with revenue or headcount — land with a named approver who reviews and releases, or sends it back. Routine summaries deliver on their own.

  • Named approver before delivery
  • Review, release, or send back with a note
  • Routine reports skip approval and auto-deliver
  • Who approved what is kept on record

08Archive & audit

Prove exactly what was reported.

Every report that generates is kept — timestamped, with the data it was built from and a record of who approved and received it. So when someone asks what March's board pack actually said, you pull the exact file that went out, not a regenerated guess.

  • Every report archived with a timestamp
  • The underlying data it was built from
  • A record of approvers and recipients
  • An audit trail for financial & customer reports

09How we work

Built to be trusted — and maintained.

01

Map the reports

We catalogue which reports get built by hand, who reads them, how often, and what numbers they rely on.

02

Design the templates

We design the layout, charts, and commentary for each audience before building, so the output reads well.

03

Wire to the warehouse

Each figure is sourced from the modelled warehouse, so the report ties out to your dashboards by construction.

04

Add schedule & delivery

Cadence, approval workflow where it's needed, and delivery to PDF, email, and Slack — plus the archive.

05

Hand over & expand

Docs, a walkthrough, and a system your team owns — then we add the next report, and the next.

10Right when

The deck has become a monthly tax.

  • Someone copies numbers into a deck weekly

The same ritual every week — slow, error-prone, and a waste of the hours of whoever does it.

  • Board reports are a fire drill

The highest-stakes report shouldn't depend on a person assembling it the night before the meeting.

  • Customer reporting is a manual export

One CSV per account, reformatted and emailed one at a time — it doesn't scale past a handful of customers.

12Questions

The things teams ask first.

Because that person is doing the same copy-paste ritual over and over, and it's both slow and error-prone. They pull numbers from a few tools, drop them into a template, fix the formatting, and hope they didn't fat-finger a cell. We generate the report straight from the warehouse on a schedule, so the figures, the charts, and the layout all populate themselves. The monthly deck stops being a two-day fire drill and becomes a file that's already waiting in your inbox.

Stop rebuilding the same deck.

Tell us which report eats your team's time every period — the board pack, the weekly summary, the customer export. We'll build the system that generates it from your warehouse, formats it for whoever's reading, and delivers it on schedule — so the report shows up on its own, correct and on time.
